Education: B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Tennessee Tech University- 2005

M.S. in Reading and Literacy from Walden University- 2009

I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at MPS. Teaching children to read is my favorite thing to do! Giving the lifelong gift of reading to a child is such a blessing. I am honored to get to share your child with you this year!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children. Our favorite thing to do is travel, but when we can’t do that, we love to bake. We also love going to the movies and eating dessert at new places!
