Kathryn Cox

I love my job here at Madisonville Primary School! I have taught Kindergarten for two and a half years here, and now I am teaching music! I graduated in December 2022 from Lee University with my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I have lived in Madisonville my whole life! I even went to MPS as a child and received education from some of my current colleagues! It brings me a lot of joy to be able to contribute to the community that has poured into my life over the years. When I am not at school teaching and loving on our kiddos, I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, and make art! I look forward to every year and the opportunity to make new relationships with students. My goal is to create a classroom environment that allows my students to feel safe and loved while also having fun during learning! Please reach out if you have any questions!
