About Ms. Sunshine

Welcome to Blended Pre-K!

I am Ms. Destiny Moore- however, during the past school year, my scholars began calling me Ms. Sunshine!

I went to Tennessee Wesleyan University and completed my degree in Special Education. I also have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Design from WGU.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 4 wonderful little boys. One of our sons has Autism and one of them has apraxia of speech which requires an AAC device. My personal experience as a mom of children with IEPs and different abilities helps me understand both sides of the conversation and makes me really passionate about early intervention and access to education. 

This is my 6th year teaching and my 2nd year in Pre-K. I am so excited to be your teacher and look forward to a great year!
