Exceptional Education Teacher
Hello everyone I am Miss Re! I love being apart of the MPS team. I was born and raised in upstate New York. I moved to Tennessee in September 2025. I have a little boy who is my whole entire world. His name is Kartier. I come from a BIG loving family. My parents were foster parents back home in New York and they adopted 5 children before we moved to Tennessee . I have 6 sister's and 4 brother's all together. My mom was a in home licensed daycare provider for over 10 years. This is where my love for young children started. I am grateful for my opportunity here at MPS and I can't wait to see where this new journey here in Madisonville takes me!
During high school, I was in an Early Childhood Education program for people who want to pursue a career working with young children. This program offered college course credits and classroom placements. After I graduated high school and finishing this program I knew for sure Early Childhood Education is what I wanted to do as a career. I then went to college at Radford University in Virginia and completed my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Special Education has a very special place in my heart and I truly could never see myself doing anything else. After college, I Taught Preschool Special Education in a self-contained classroom for two years. When I moved to Tennessee, I taught blended Preschool and I enjoyed that a lot as well. I began my first year teaching here at MPS as the CDC teacher in August 2025 and I have loved every minute of it!
