Reading Intervention

Learning to read is a complex skill that primary students must accomplish before moving to third grade where the academic focus shifts to “reading to learn”.  We are fortunate to have a strong reading intervention program here at Madisonville Primary that provides additional support to students who may be struggling with this daunting task.  We strive each and every day to deliver quality instruction through research-based interventions, so that every child can leave prepared to experience success in their intermediate school years.  If you would like to learn more about the Response to Intervention (RTI) process or how you can assist your child in becoming a better reader the following websites may interest you.
