Mrs. Hilary Peery - First Grade Teacher
I am so excited to be a part of the MPS team! I love teaching first grade. It is so rewarding when you see a student get so excited when something they have been working so hard on finally clicks for them. My hope is that my classroom will be a fun and safe environment where students feel loved and are excited to learn. I am looking forward to a fun year of learning and watching my students grow.
I grew up in Madisonville and attended Monroe County Schools. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and a Masters of Elementary Education and Teacher Licensure from Lincoln Memorial University.
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Phil and I have three children; Quinten is 14, Lydia is 11, and Elliot is 5 . We love travelling, watching movies and all things Disney.
