Hi! I’m Rachel Converse. I have lived in Madisonville for 11 years with my husband, Jonathan. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with our dogs and cat.
My Education:
Tennessee Tech University- Bachelor of Science, Child and Family Studies, 2006
Lee University- Master of Education, Special Education, 2017
I also hold an endorsement through the Association of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health in Tennessee as a Distinguished Early Childhood Family Associate (ECFA), 2023
I was a teacher for 17 years in various grades prek-2nd grade as well as special education. I also served as an Inclusion Specialist for the TN Childcare Resource and Referral Network for 2 years.
I am excited about my new role a Blended Pre-K Teacher! I want to provide a safe and caring environment for our students as they enter school for their first time. I am passionate about giving a predictable schedule, interactive materials and engaging activities to ALL students under my care. I am so thankful for MPS and the warm welcome I have received. I look forward to an enjoyable year!
